Pharmac has a range of critical and important business applications and software. Some are out-of-the-box, while others are bespoke applications. The Applications Team main function is to support these applications. Along with other team members, you will be responsible for ensuring these business-critical applications are up-to-date and available to ensure our kaimahi are able to complete their day-to-day mahi, and make that mahi easier.

We are looking for an experienced senior database developer to join our team who brings a broad database experience and knowledge, with strong experience and skill set in the following:

• MS SQL Server, My SQL, maintenance, and performance.
• Experience with database design and development with both cloud an on premise databases.
• GIT
• DBA skills are not mandatory, but would be an advantage
• Existing knowledge and experience of cloud service providers and technology would also be advantageous

The ideal candidate will also have experience in other software languages and tools, or have an interest and willingness to learn.

The salary range for this position is $86,414- $110,000. We are looking to appoint between $100k - $110k inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver Employer contribution.
