Senior Delivery Manager

About the Role:

In this role as Senior Delivery Manager at RUSH, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the delivery of digital projects for our clients from Sales through to project closure. Your mission will be to ensure that projects are won and executed flawlessly - delivered on time, within budget, and to the utmost satisfaction of our clients.

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of client projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards in a way that meets or exceeds customer expectations.


• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and manage resources to ensure successful project delivery.


• Lead project delivery team and delivery chapter AI uptake by identifying use-cases, running experiments and sharing findings - as well as pushing others to do the same.


• Manage project risks and issues, and proactively identify and mitigate potential problems, escalating when required.


• Supporting the sales team to shape, price, document and sell in project proposals and contracts that set RUSH up for successful Delivery 


• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and work closely with them to understand their requirements and feedback.


• Monitor project progress and key metrics, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and clients.


• Evangelise RUSH Ways of Working and work to identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and effectiveness.


• Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and senior management.


• Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.


• Identify and secure upsell opportunities within your projects and adjacencies.


• Communicate client growth opportunities to Sales as required.


• Act as a team facilitator for key ceremonies and rituals.

About You:

• Track record of successful delivery and customer outcomes


• High attention to detail and exceptional multitasking abilities.


• Proactive, self-motivated, and continuously updated on industry trends.


• Willingness to make tough decisions, to have crucial conversations and address conflict when needed.


• 5+ years of IT service delivery/project management related experience.


• Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.


• Demonstrable expertise in Atlassian tool suite (Confluence & Jira)


• Deep understanding of software systems and SDLC.


• Knowledgeable in risk management and conflict resolution.


• Effective stakeholder management and great communication.


• Excellent time management and vendor relationship management skills.

Additional things we’d really like to see in applicants;

• Expert-level proficiency in ProjectWorks


• Evidence of strong financial/legal acumen, familiarity with commercial and legal constructs, and contract negotiation skills


• Able to work autonomously or with minimal supervision


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Great G-Suite skills and experience
