The Cause Collective (TCC) is a community organisation that aims to create the conditions for communities to thrive from this generation to the next.
We are a population focused organisation and have a particular interest in Pacific peoples across Aotearoa, underserved and South Auckland communities.
We are looking for a Senior Designer to be part of our innovative and creative Communications and Marketing team, bringing the stories of Pacific peoples and South Auckland communities to life.
The Senior Designer is responsible for designing digital and traditional collateral for The Cause Collective’s portfolio of brands and initiatives by:
- Leading the development and execution of brand aligned marketing collateral across traditional and digital media for various audiences including any other mediums that require design.
- Embodying being a Brand Guardian by understanding and consistently implementing Brand Guidelines, for new and existing TCC collateral, ensuring an engaging brand experience across all touch points, whilst maintaining the brand’s integrity.
- Delivering creative and strategically aligned solutions to complex and challenging communications and marketing initiatives aligned to The Cause Collective’s vision, mission, and values.
- Identifying and leading initiatives to continuously improve the communities/users/clients experience of TCC’s brands and initiatives to fulfil the communities/users/clients lives through marketing design.
- Working in conjunction with the communications and marketing as well as initiative teams to continuously improve the communities/users experience of the brand and quality of design output.

You will be a strong conceptual thinker, be a whizz in creating strategic communications and have a great work ethic and a “don’t leave until we’ve nailed it” attitude. You will also be skilled at making complex messaging simple through targeted and innovative content and design.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ digital design experience – brand side or agency.
- Hold a tertiary qualification in digital / graphic design or related experience.
- Demonstrative experience in visual design capability, including graphic and digital design.
- Understanding of and ability to design for multiple media types.
- Ability to balance the brand with the needs and goals of the customer.
- Proficient in using the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Competent in Microsoft, especially PowerPoint, to enable internal design support across the business.
- Adobe Premier & After Effects video editing is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
