Senior Group Accountant - Urgent Position

Come onboard and take ownership of the corporate accounting activities for this commercial investment company, responsible for protecting and growing their commercial assets!

Reporting to the Finance Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Month end close
• Monthly consolidation and review of group results
• Internal and external reporting of performance including performance against budget
• Balance Sheet reconciliations 
• Year-end Financial Statement preparation in line with NZ IFRS
• Management of the treasury function including daily cash flow and liquidity management
• Preparation of calculations for the bank
• Management of the annual insurance process

You'll need to use your strong people skills as well as organisation skills to effectively co-ordinate with the team and wider business to get things done. 

The key qualifications and experience we are looking for are: 
- CA qualified or equivalent
- experience within industry 
- strong technical skills ideally with consolidation and external reporting experience 
- good handle on systems
