Job Description - Senior HR Advisor

We’re excited to be recruiting for a permanent full-time Senior HR Advisor based in Waikato. The ideal candidate will be someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get involved in a wide range of generalist HR activities, projects, and initiatives.


 


As a Sr. HR Advisor at Healthvision, you would be responsible for:



  • Providing end-to-end support across the full employee lifecycle

  • Liase, coach and support line managers through ER issues from leading investigations to supporting performance improvement and disciplinary processes.

  • Ensure that care/behaviour reflects the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitagagi.

  • Participate in key change management initiatives for the organisation.

  • Upskilling, and keeping abreast of relevant legislation changes and its impact on the organisation.



To be successful in this role, you would ideally have a creative approach to problem-solving and the ability to influence others. You would have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build and establish relationships and:




  • Have proven work experience as a Generalist HR Advisor or HR Consultant.

  • Be organised, flexible and have the energy, drive and passion to see projects through to completion.

  • Have a sound understanding of HR best practices and NZ employment legislations.

  • Ability to think pragmatically and provide sound advice on a range of HR & ER issues.

  • A high level of working independently is a must.

  • A tertiary qualification in HR or Business-related qualification.

  • Self-driven, results-oriented and excellent time management skills

  • You should have the right to work legally and permanently in New Zealand.
