The Job As a lead Training Manager you will manage relationships with:
- Referrers - operating with a relationship approach where this organisation is a preferred partner for IT & vocational training; expectations are matched and the referrer truly values and understands the purpose. Currently referrals are heavily ACC, but this will diversify.
- Trainers - there are 40+ contract trainers based across the country, providing approximately 20-25 hours 1:1 training per student. You will conduct needs assessments, timetable training, conduct check ins, reviews and quality checks.
- Students - there are 100’s of students taking part in training at one time.
You will be part of a team of 4-5 coordinators. Your job is to ensure that the training network is delivering quality training, especially where tailored approaches are necessary to respond to high-needs or complex students (or referrers).
The Ideal Person This job is going to suit someone who has been a case manager, occupational therapist, rehab consultant or is a quality HR person. The soft skills you’ll display:

- Be a strong relationship builder - the success of this business relies on the quality of relationships you and your team have with all stakeholders.
