The Role

We’re looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join us as we modernise and re-platform our ecommerce system. This is a permanent role, based in Auckland with a hybrid working model.

You’ll be part of a friendly and capable engineering team rebuilding our iOS app using modern Apple technologies. This role suits someone who enjoys writing high-quality code, shaping technical direction, and helping others grow.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to defining iOS standards, patterns, and best practices as part of our re-platforming journey.


• Design and build a scalable, native, white-label iOS app for iPhone and iPad.


• Collaborate closely with Product and UX to deliver intuitive, customer-focused experiences.


• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and thoughtful feedback.


• Shape architecture and technical decisions to ensure long-term maintainability and performance.


• Champion quality, testability, accessibility, and simplicity across the codebase.


• Help grow an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing engineering culture.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience


• Strong experience building and shipping iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI in production environments.


• Proficiency with structured concurrency, Swift Package Manager, and XCTest with a pragmatic approach to testing.


• Experience with modern iOS architecture patterns (e.g. MVI, MVVM, or similar).


• Familiarity with modular codebases and scalable app design.


• A collaborative, empathetic communication style — you enjoy helping others succeed.
