About the Role

We have a fantastic position available for a Senior IT Solutions Engineer to deliver high-quality IT support across the business. In this role, you’ll ensure our technology systems run smoothly by implementing, configuring, and supporting a range of IT solutions including modern workplace technologies, systems, software, hardware, and networks, to meet the needs of the business and its users.

You’ll also play a key part in assisting with the enhancement of our overall security environment which will involve contributing to the development and implementation of a clear security pathway. This is a highly responsive role, with day-to-day priorities are shaped by the needs of internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Administering and maintaining IT systems, hardware, and networks to ensure stability and performance.


• Implementing and managing security frameworks, tools, and processes (e.g. antivirus, encryption, monitoring).


• Troubleshooting technical issues across devices, software, and services.


• Overseeing backups, disaster recovery, and data protection plans.


• Supporting internal users and training staff on tools and best practices.


• Monitoring system performance and resolving issues as they arise.


• Project manage / participate in IT projects and helping roll out new tools and technologies including modern workplace technologies.


• Working closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable solutions.


• Providing mentorship across the team.

About You

You’re someone who loves digging into tech challenges, thrives in a collaborative environment, and understands the importance of strong security practices in today’s digital world. You’re confident, capable, and ready to get stuck in.

You’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Security certifications (a plus, but not required).


• Solid knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, and security principles.


• Experience with server management, networking, and cloud services.


• Familiarity with security frameworks like ISO27001 or SOC2.


• Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.


• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.


• A proactive mindset and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• Sense of humour.
