The disputes are varied ranging from product liability claims, engineering defects, weather tightness issues, building subsidence, payment disputes to breaches of negligence claims and professional indemnity cover issues. The team act for building and engineering consultants, contractors, specialist subcontractors, developers, and their insurers. Their clients include international and multinational companies, as well as local businesses.They cover both front-end and back-end construction work so there is an opportunity to also work on transactional matters in addition to dispute resolution.About youA NZ qualified solicitor with ideally 6+ years' experience (and it could be be much more).Some previous experience in back-end and/or front-end construction law would be highly advantageous.
