Senior Management Accountant

This is a rare opportunity for a CA /CPA qualified Senior Management Accountant to join a highlysuccessful and well-regarded private sector business within the FMCG industry in Nelson . You will operate alongside the leadership team and report into the Managing Director in their head office and become instrumental in driving the company’s growth!

What you would be doing

You will reportintothe Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team with an aim to provide in depth financial guidance towards the wider operation from a ground up prospective. this is your opportunity to own this aspect of the business and build on their productivity!

You will be expected to do the following:

• Report into the Managing Director
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team
• Manage one direct report on a daily basis
• Budget management and commentary
• Cashflow forecasting and analysis
• Capex and opex reporting
• Inventory reporting and oversight
• Payroll reviewing and approval
• FX oversight
• GST filing and returns
• Month and year end processes

Who are we looking for?

We’reinterested in hearing from people with three or more years’ experience as aSenior Management Accountant post CA / CPA qualification, but more importantly, we need professionals whohave recent experience within either FMCG, wholesale retail, supply chain, manufacturing, export, or distribution industries from a finance perspective.

You must have a keen eye for detail, and the ability to juggle workloads and deadlines without breaking a sweat. Advanced MS Excel, ERP system experience and holding aC.A / CPA qualificationwould be an asset to succe ed .If this sounds familiar,we’dlove to hear from you!

Ideally, you should have the following experience:

• Defined management accounting or business partnering experience.
• Ability to lead and coach junior staff
• Exposure to large complex commercial environments
• Solid FMIS and MS Excel experience
• Chartered Accounting Certification (or close to achieving this)
• NZ Residency or Citizenship
