Senior Payroll Data Analyst - Remediation Project - Leading Industry Pay

An awesome role has been created with a client currently undergoing a significant Remediation and Rectification project for a skilled Data Analyst! 

The Role
In this role you will be joining the organisation to be fully accounting to the following duties which require urgent, specific attention;

• Otherwise Working Days - Development of scripts to identify where an employee would qualify for an otherwise working day using 3 specific rules (5/1, 50%, 2/4) back to 2010 using daily data from the T&A software.
• Identify where the employee has been paid for an OWD and where they still need payment  
• Casuals - Possible help with the development and Quality Assurance of Casual calculations where they are owed a leave balance, where they have been identified as no longer a casual for that period of work.
• Remediation Calculations - Assisting with the analysis of the remediation output, data investigation and issue triage.
• Adhoc SQL Reports for Rectification as well such as identifying casuals for OWD going forward etc. 

About You
To be suitable for this role you will have significant experience in similar roles, ideally supporting remediation and rectification projects within New Zealand. You will also require the ability to develop and build scripts, and have advance SQL language skills. Without this skillset you will not be considered, as training is not provided, you are being employed to 'own' this piece of work! 

The Benefits 
In return you'll receive an hourly rate contract until end of 2024, with potential for extension. There is potential for the models that you develop to be rolled out to other similar projects, which you may support. The role is also available as fully remote within NZ, providing you are comfortable with occasional travel (to collect equipment and as required by employer).
