He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
We’re extending our People team, and these new roles will support and work alongside the wider team including our Business Partners. This is a generalist position where you will be involved in day-to-day Employment Relations support whilst also leading and delivering on People and Capability ER projects and initiatives.
This role will have a specialist element and will play a key role in implementing our People pillars and projects that impact the whole business.
Here is what you could be involved with on any given day:
Providing support to business leaders and Business Partners with ER cases
Offering employment relations expertise, including keeping abreast of relevant legislation
Providing insightful reporting on People metrics and using data to drive business improvement
For the right candidate, building and inputting into our wider Employment and Industrial Relations approach
Driving our People calendar, our operational trackers and policy updates
Developing and contributing to a range of people solutions/projects that meet the changing needs of the business
Contributing to and delivering a People strategy aligned to the business needs and company plan

We're looking for someone who loves applying their expertise and getting meaningful work done.
In this role you will bring:
Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with and negotiate with a broad range of people
Strong Employment Relations expertise including being the SME in employment legislation
A focus on improving things for the future and coaching people leaders
The ability to flex between employment relations advisory and project work
If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:
Previous experience in an HR Advisory, in-house legal or ER Lead role
Experience providing ER support to senior stakeholders
In depth Knowledge of employment legislation and end-to-end employee life-cycle activities
