The Opportunity.
TSA have a strong track record of delivering healthcare projects in New Zealand and are looking to grow the capacity of our national health team on both public and private health projects. TSA is now seeking an experienced Senior Project Managers in our Christchurch, Wellington, or Auckland offices. As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing the delivery of projects with guidance from a Project Director.

About You.
A tertiary qualification in engineering or construction is preferred.
  • A tertiary qualification in architecture, engineering or project management is preferred.
  • Experience in client-side consultancy or similar roles.
  • At least 6+ years’ experience in managing projects in the built environment.
  • Have the ability to work independently on day-to-day activities with oversight and support from a Project Director
  • A team player that demonstrates a collaborative approach to project delivery in a shared team culture.
  • Open to travel for projects in regional New Zealand, if required.  
  • Have a detailed understanding of construction contracts, project delivery framework, property feasibility and key metrics etc
  • Able to negotiate through and successfully resolve (whilst maintaining integrity, professionalism and relationships) high value disputes on projects
  • Able to run project meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients on projects up to $50M
  • Able to lead APM's and PM's on medium/large sized projects
  • Able to develop client management and relationships
  • Strong business development skills, able to turn existing engagements into repeat work.
  • Advanced ability to manage design consultants
  • Thorough knowledge and application of contracts (NZS3910 & NZS3916), Engineer to Contract/Engineer's Representative.
