Our current projects range from a $10 million luxury home in Northland to a $20 million hotel refurbishment and a $40 million housing development, both nestled in the stunning surroundings of Wanaka.

Position Overview: 

As a Quantity Surveyor at Constructive, you will be a vital part of our team, contributing your expertise in Quantity Surveying and project management. 

Your role will involve accurate cost estimation, contract administration, and coordination of project elements. 

You will collaborate closely with good clients, reputable contractors, and our internal team to ensure projects are executed flawlessly from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate cost estimation and budget management for projects.
• Proficient contract administration, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Utilize your experience with NZ construction methodologies to enhance project efficiency.
• Utilize Elemental estimating and I Two Cost X tools for precise cost analysis.
• Navigate NZIA & NZS Contracts with confidence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NZIQS approved and recognised Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying is essential.
• Proven experience in Quantity Surveying roles, preferably in high-end residential and commercial projects.
• Strong familiarity with NZ construction methodologies and industry practices.
• Proficiency in using Elemental estimating.
• Experience and proficiency with ITwo CostX essential
• Experience with NZIA & NZS Contracts and contract administration.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commercial mindset.
• Good language and communication skills.
