Senior R&D Technologist - Ingredients Sales Support

We are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our business and be part of our success.Our OpportunityOur Research & Development (R&D) function is at the heart of ensuring we continue to deliver superior quality and nutritious everyday foods to our customers.

We currently have an opportunity for a newly created position of Senior Research & Development Technologist. You will have responsibility for providing technical support and driving sales across Ingredients projects across Goodman Fielder sites, and Goodman Fielder customers.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Working alongside Ingredient Account Managers when conducting customer visits to help understand customer needs, applications and find new sales opportunities.
• Provide Technical support for our food service, commercial and Industrial Sales teams as the key point of contact within the R&D team.
• Actively seek ingredient growth opportunities for GF sites and its customers
• Develop applications to present to customers show casing ingredients performance and use.
• Support the R&D Baking team with product improvement, NPD, and cost saving projects
• Manage multiple end-to-end projects from project briefs, plans and timelines through to deliveryAbout YouTo make this role a success, we are looking for an individual who has a strong technical food technology background, ideally with experience in Technical Ingredient Sales.

Some of the skillsets and experiences we are looking for, include :

• Experience in product development in FMCG (preferably baking)
• Strong stakeholder management skills and experience in technical sales
• An ability to lead and manage projects and manage key deadlines
• Ideally have bread and general baking experience with practical cooking skills.
