You will bring strong awareness of business, infrastructure and technical contexts to help design and implement innovative solutions while anticipating future technology trends. Design, build, test and maintain performant and resilient applications.
Analyse, implement and document changes across the SDLC.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, supporting releases and deployments.
Work closely with your squad and stakeholders to remove blockers and deliver customer value.
Contribute to agile ceremonies and continuous improvement of ways of working.
Nā tāu rourou | What you will bring
8 + years experience as a full stack Java Engineer in large enterprise environments.
Strong understanding of design principles, coding standards and quality engineering.
Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Hands on experience with Kubernetes, Docker or similar technologies.
Strong SQL capability with experience writing and optimising queries.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and related web technologies.
Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and applying shift left practices.
Familiarity with React, CI CD and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Self motivated, proactive, collaborative and solution focused.
A growth mindset with enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement.
Experience working in agile cross functional teams.
Strong focus on quality, simplification and best practice.
Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across different areas and levels.
Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
