Senior Structures Project Engineer - Hiring Fast

Join the delivery of the Mt Messenger Alliance, this new section of SH3, is located between Uruti and Ahititi to the north of New Plymouth. It will bypass the existing approximately 7.4km steep, narrow and winding section of highway at Mt Messenger. The complex project involves significant earthworks, drainage, tunnel construction, bridges, and new pavement and surfacing along with unique environmental enhancement works. Based in the beautiful rural Taranaki.

As a Senior Structures Engineer you will be a part of delivering civil infrastructure construction projects;

• Following spec and keeping within contract time frames and budgets.
• Showing leadership in safety and environmental protection.
• Manage the delivery of two bridges and one set of tunnel portal structures.
• Utilising 10+ years of experience in management, planning, procurement and communication skills.
• Ensure sufficient resources and materials are available to deliver projects.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants encountered on each project.
• Assist in the winning of future work.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of experience as an Engineer in New Zealand (complex bridges/structures are a must!).
• Excellent communications skills both written and oral.
• Proven and well-developed interpersonal/leadership skills.
• Keen interest in maintaining a healthy and positive culture!
