Senior Supervisor Aquatics - Pioneer

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced aquatics professional who is looking to make a bigger impact by stepping into leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Support the Aquatics Team Leader through leading a team of lifeguards and ensuring standards such as operating procedures, Poolsafe, water quality, pool supervision, cleanliness and customer service are met.
• You will also lead the delivery of Te Hapua summer pool and be partly based there during the summer months.
• You'll value building relationships and will be able to easily build a rapport with your team, community and your leader who will rely on you for support.

As the most important aspect of this job is leading people, we are looking for someone with serious potential to inspire, motivate and develop staff, empowering them to always achieve greatness for our customers. 

To be successful in this position you will:

• Have minimum of 3 years' practical experience in an aquatics or pool environment, including 12 months leadership experience.
• Hold a current Comprehensive First Aid Certificate (level 2) & current Pool Lifeguard Skills Award.
• Demonstrate the ability to take the lead and look for ways to make things better.
• Excellent attention to detail is important, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Have strong communication skills and be solution focused.

Additional Recruitment Information:

• Salary: $34.39 - $38.21 per hour.
• Hours: Permanent, 40 hours per week.
• Locations & Days of work: Pioneer + Te Hāpua Summer Pool, Sunday - Thursday.
