Senior Technical Data Business Analyst | Contract

We're looking for an experienced Senior Technical Data Business Analyst to join a high-performing AI & Data team on a contract basis.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work with business stakeholders, data engineers and solution architects to define data requirements, map source systems, document data flows, and help deliver high-quality data products.

What you'll be doing

• Gather and document business and technical data requirements


• Analyse source systems and map data from source to target


• Produce data mappings, lineage, transformation rules and data quality requirements


• Work closely with engineers and architects to design data solutions


• Support testing, UAT and data governance activities


• Engage with stakeholders to shape new data use cases

What you'll bring

• Strong Business Analysis experience in data-focused projects


• Good understanding of data warehousing and data engineering concepts


• Experience with data mapping, data modelling and source-to-target documentation


• Knowledge of Kimball methodologies


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments


• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure data platforms


• Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
