Senior Test Analyst | Digital

What you will be doing

Our Digital Team delivers technology solutions to all areas of the business. As our Senior Test Analyst it will be your responsibility to analyse, plan, execute, and report on all test-related activities – BAU and project/s - ensuring that solutions are effectively tested before and after production deployment.

Your key responsibilities are:

• Review, analyse and identify test requirements based on the functional and non-functional specifications from technical documentation
• Create and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on project requirements
• Coordinate testing efforts across various platforms, including web and mobile
• Provide management with metrics, analysis, and other relevant reports regarding the quality of testing
• Champion of the best practice Quality Assurance, participating in and supporting best practice improvements to ensure high quality products are delivered
• Provide leadership coaching, mentoring and any other support as required to the team
• Develop and nurture relationships between Digital and the wider business
• Collaborate with Design and Operational teams to ensure solutions are well understood and testing is robust

What you’ll bring to the role

To ensure your success in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• ISTQB Foundation Certificate required
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a Test Analyst, including 2+ years’ experience as a Senior Test Analyst
• Experience writing test strategy and test plans
• Lead test efforts for a range of test phases, such as Functional, System, Integration, End-to-end, UAT and PVT
• Proven in-depth understanding of testing “good” practices including tools and techniques - Jira, Confluence, Azure Devops etc
• Experience with open-source automation tools such as Selenium and off the shelf automation tools
• Proven experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work across a wide range of technologies
• Ability to communicate technical language to the business in a clear and understandable manner
• Flexible and adaptable in the face of changing priorities or circumstances – and able to work on site outside of business hours
• Demonstrated positive attitude including when working under tight deadlines
