What you'll be doing

CORPAY is currently searching for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our IT Development division in the Auckland office. In this role, you will work alongside our Business Analysts and Developers within a dedicated scrum team. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining tests on all test environments of the application pipeline. You will report directly to the QA Team Leader and regularly work with our business analysts, quality assurance, technical architects and other members of the IT and Business teams to efficiently develop software solutions.

• Company-issued equipment + remote access
• Hands-on training and development

Role Responsibilities

• Designing and developing effective and efficient test automation solutions
• Collaborating with the team to ensure appropriate test coverage of API's and React frontends
• Integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline (GitLab)
• Contribute and take responsibility for the test design and execution of the project lifecycle
• Identify software applications' weaknesses and target areas
• Ensure automation testing standards are met and use best practices that align with project objectives
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of to the test framework and processes
• Mentoring and guiding junior members of the test automation team

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in test automation
• Experience working with SoapUI is advantageous, along with strong skills in REST API testing
• Experience working in SQL is highly advantageous
• Solid experience creating, maintaining and improving test automation frameworks
• Experience working with AWS is advantageous
• Skilled in test planning and the full test life cycle

To be considered, you must hold legal eligibility to work full time in New Zealand. We are not considering offshore applicants.
