About the Role

This role suits an experienced nurse who can hit the ground running and play a key role in supporting clinical standards and team workflow in a busy companion animal practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting surgical nursing, including hospital prep, anaesthetics, patient monitoring, and recovery care.

• Coaching and mentoring junior nurses and supporting the day-to-day workflow.

• Running nurse consults and providing advanced client education.

• Collecting and submitting diagnostic samples.

• Digital radiography and imaging.

• Fluid therapy and IV catheter placement.

About You

• Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

• 3+ year’s experience as a Veterinary Nurse.

• Confidence in surgical nursing, anaesthetics, and patient care.

• Strong communication and client-care skills.

• A calm, organised approach and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• A positive, team-focused attitude and a genuine passion.

Recent graduates will not be considered for this position.
