Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
We have the opportunity for a technically proficient and versatile Senior Video Editor to join our Media Productions team. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for editing of all our original and repurposed stories, guided by our Post Production Supervisor.
No two days are the same in this role, as we cover a true variety of projects. They could be a mini-doc profiling space research, podcasts, international marketing campaigns and more.

Please note this is a permanent fulltime ( hours /week) position, with a salary range of $70,000- $78,900 per annum depending on skills & experience.

You'll have a can-do attitude, enjoy working autonomously and adept at making creative decisions on the fly. You'll care about craft and storytelling, enjoy being part of a supportive team and can work fast.
Youll need to be just as comfortable talking with creatives as you are with clients and wed love it if you had a passion for film or streaming content.
Mō tō mātou rōpū | About the team
We are a small collaborative team of eleven highly experienced creatives producing customised video, still and motion graphic content for the University of Aucklands seven faculty and operation teams alongside external contracts. We pitch in when others need a hand, look out for each other at peak times throughout the year and are always open to new/better ways of working.
Our work is commission based and can include: Teaching and learning resources, social content, docu-style profiles, sizzle reels, multi-cam Q&A studio shoots, event coverage, international marketing campaigns, award packages, news stories, global conference content, greenscreen editing and long-form story-telling.
