Building on our track record of designing some of New Zealand’s most significant industrial and water utility structures, we have a strong forward pipeline of projects across New Zealand and Australia.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Water Structures Engineer with expertise in liquid-retaining structures to lead our work in the Industrial and Water markets.

You will join a well-established and diverse team of structural engineers, working on a wide range of projects across the local region, New Zealand, the Pacific, and Australasia.

• Provide technical advice and project leadership while embracing a culture that values teamwork

• Lead project delivery, client relationship management, and proposal preparation

• Build strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and delivering to expectations

• Help grow the talent and careers of our structural engineers and champion innovation

Ko wai koe | About you
You are a chartered structural engineer (or working towards chartership) with a proven track record in delivering industrial or water projects, including experience in liquid-retaining structures such as water reservoirs, tanks, and water or wastewater treatment plants.

You bring:

• Experience designing concrete structures for liquid storage, particularly in accordance with NZS 3106

• Familiarity with NZSEE Seismic Design of Storage Tanks and CIRIA C766 (crack control in concrete structures)

• A passion for learning, sharing knowledge, and mentoring others

• Strengths in technical leadership, project delivery, and client relationship management

• A proactive mindset and motivation to deliver quality outcomes

• A values-driven approach and a collaborative spirit
