The Role


You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's digital presence and designing, developing, and maintaining web applications throughout our web ecosystem. Your expertise will span both front-end and back-end technologies, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience. Collaboration is at the core of this role as you work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and marketing, to ensure alignment and consistency. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of Seequent's digital transformation, fostering a future-first mindset, and collaborating with a cross functional team to enhance buy-flow processes, support journeys, information architecture, and web navigation. This is a hybrid role to be based out of our Christchurch office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with teams to lead and create overall web architecture.
• Maintain security standards across our websites
• Maintain performance standards across our websites
• Implement new features and websites to support business growth

In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

• Shown leadership in coding standards, collaboration, and co-ordination of third-party partners
• A strong understanding of development processes for digital environments including Agile, information architecture, UX/UI, project management, testing frameworks
• Experience building accessible websites and familiar with accessibility standards to create inclusive user experiences
• Knowledge of design principles and responsive design to create beautiful experiences across devices
• Expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
