About the Role 

Collaborate with a highly skilled team of specialists to design and deliver outstanding technical solutions for our customers. Reporting to the Workspace Director, this permanent full-time senior role is an opportunity to work alongside a team of passionate, dedicated individuals and develop your skills at a cloud-first provider of enterprise technology business solutions.

Rather than offering ‘out-of-the-box’ solutions, you will have the autonomy to use a customer focused, cross-team approach to ensure we deliver the best possible solution to address the customer’s key problems.

  • Create and implement innovative, industry-leading solutions utilising your own expertise as well as the knowledge of your team
  • Consult with a diverse range of large, well-known enterprise customers, using your people skills and decision-making ability to take their dreams and turn them into a technical reality
  • Take on challenging projects that stretch you to develop your skills

Skills and Experience

Our favourite technology is whatever works best to create great outcomes for our customers, but it is likely you will have certifications and experience in the following:

  • Microsoft Cloud offerings (Intune, Modern Management)
  • Azure Virtual Desktop, Cloud PC, Citrix Cloud
  • Virtualization – VMware, Hyper-V, Azure Stack, HCI
  • Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 10 & 11
  • Systems Engineering experience with Windows platforms and related technologies.  Expertise designing, implementing, and maintaining common Windows Server Roles, features and technologies such as DHCP, DNS, File shares, roaming user profiles
  • Systems engineering experience with platforms, including capacity planning for CPU, memory, storage, I/O and network considerations
  • Experience with cost estimation, using tools such as Azure Price calculator
  • Consulting with customers on options and features required to meet business needs
  • Designing and presenting solutions and scopes of work to customers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to conduct research into issues 
  • The ability to communicate complex topics in audience-appropriate detail and terminology
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritise tasks
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable

Security Clearance Checks

The role will involve customer work that is highly sensitive in nature, therefore we can only consider applicants who are able to obtain national security clearance to ‘Secret’ or ‘Top Secret’ level. To gain clearance, applicants will need to be either a New Zealand citizen or resident, and NOT have lived outside of the ‘Five Eyes’ countries (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom, USA) for more than 2 of the last 10 years.

Candidates must be prepared to obtain security clearance should the recruitment process result in an offer of employment. The vetting process may involve Government representatives questioning your friends and family on your background and suitability.
