About the role

We are looking for a part-time SEO and SEM specialist who can help drive the ongoing analytics, SEO and SEM initiatives as part of our Sandfield team. Hours will be approximately 15 hours a week and expected to grow. 

Sandfield offers SEO & SEM services for some of our customers as part of our digital offering. The role will require the ongoing management and optimisation of both internal and external websites, leveraging your expertise in the Google Marketing Platform, analytics and paid advertising.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyse keyword reports monthly to identify gaps in coverage and areas for improvement.
• Create and refresh content for website pages and blogs 
• Develop and update schema markup 
• Utilise website analytics tools (GA4, GTM) to track and analyse traffic, user behaviour, and campaign performance.
• Conduct regular SEO audits to identify and address technical SEO issues, fix basic issues and escalate complex issues to developers.
• Build backlinks through identifying effective outreach strategies and collaboration with relevant websites.
• Generate reports detailing SEO performance
• Create and manage Google Ads campaigns for optimal performance.
• Analyse and generate detailed reports on Google Ads performance data (monthly/yearly comparisons)
• Generate and implement actionable recommendations
• Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign elements to optimise conversion rates.

Skills and Experience:

• Google Ads – comprehensive knowledge of Google ads network, campaigns, optimisation, and delivery 
• Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Google Marketing Platform (experience with the latest Google 4 platform is a bonus)
• Good working knowledge and understanding of SEO/SEM, the tools associated with them and how the various platforms integrate with each other
• Be data driven and detail orientated - Have a strong understanding of the data behind the data - How it is tracked, where it goes, and how it can subsequently be used
• Experience with monitoring and audit tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog etc
• Experience with Search Console, Analytics, Tag Manager
• Some experience in content writing would be beneficial, particularly in crafting blog posts tailored to keyword suggestions for optimal SEO performance.
• Website UX experience (would be nice)
