Job Description - Service Advisor

Flagship Marine is a premium brand marine broker, offering clients a range of luxury power boats.  We bring together some of the world's leading vessels backed up by a full service facility.  

The highly professional sales and service team ensures clients receive industry leading customer care, so the time they spend with us translates to quality time for them on the water.

We are looking to engage the services of a Service Advisor to support our Service Department and join our amazing team.

Main role:

The main portion of this job is the responsibility of communicating to our customers updates on the work being done on their vessels. As the work progresses or is completed you would contact the vessel owners to let them know. 

The job requires working closely with the Service Manager and Service Technicians.

There is also some vessel service administration where the technician's work descriptions will assist you to understand how the work is progressing. 

Ensuring quality of work adheres to company standards at all times.

Ensuring that high quality service is delivered to the customers at all times.

  • Have a high level of integrity 
  • Excellent understanding of the English language and have top communication skills.
  • Demonstrate appropriate levels of initiative by thinking outside the box and providing appropriate suggestions or implementing changes as appropriate to job level.
  • Manage workloads within appropriate timescales, making use of available tools and resources.
  • Behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times reflecting the appropriate company image. 
  • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication both with internal and external customers.
  • Ensures appropriate use of company resources at all times.

Working Hours - 40 hours per week between 8.30am and 5.00pm weekdays. Must be prepared to work overtime to get the job done or if an emergency arises.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
