Service Delivery Lead

Our Ohu Kāinga (Home Assist) Service specialises in providing home-based care. Our range of services are based on the individual needs of Kaumātua and Clients to support them to remain living in their own whāre.

We are looking for a new Thames-based Ohu Kāinga Service Delivery Lead who will have the privilege to lead and support our most dedicated, passionate, experienced team of Service Coordinators.

Employment type: Full Time (40 hours per week).

As a Service Delivery Lead of Ohu Kāinga you will step into this "hands-on and operational" role, have a passion for supporting our communities across the Hauraki rohe including South Waikato. This role will ensure the provision of competent, responsive and culturally safe care to whānau who have chosen Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki as their Home Assist Service Provider. 

Key Accountabilities include:

• Will hold line management responsibilities


• Provide service expertise and leadership


• Promote excellent team culture, cohesion, loyalty, kindness, accountability and empowerment


• Provide and promote professional development | refresher training and support for Kaimahi


• Partner with the Poukura - Manager and Team to maintain accreditation status according to Aged Care Quality Standards including taking part in reporting, audits and compliance


• Engage in service development opportunities, with a Whanau centric quality improvement focus


• Actively promote Ohu Kāinga - Home Assist within the community to develop service growth, expanding networks


• Report whanau feedback to increase whanau satisfaction
