About the role
We are seeking a Service Electrician to join our Waikato team, working on a diverse range of service and maintenance tasks across the energy industry.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will spend much of your time in the field, trusted to deliver high-quality results, while being supported by a team of skilled colleagues who want you to succeed.
Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on critical technical equipment across customer sites.
Diagnose faults and resolve issues to ensure minimal disruption to customer operations.
Install and commission new systems and equipment to specification.
Complete all job documentation, reporting and compliance requirements accurately and on time.
Work closely with colleagues and customers to plan and complete tasks efficiently.
Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times to keep yourself and others safe.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly, being reliable and delivering quality work.
About you:
You will be a qualified electrician with 10 plus years' experience in the industry.
You will bring a practical mindset, combined with the ability to think quickly and effectively on your feet. You will be confident working independently and capable of managing small projects without direct supervision.
We are looking for someone who is honest, trustworthy and takes real pride in their work. You will consistently go the extra mile to ensure every job is delivered to the highest standard.
Strong people skills are essential, as you will work closely with both customers and colleagues, building relationships based on trust and respect.
