Service Management Consultant – Contract

We are looking for an experienced Service Management Consultant to help establish and mature a modern Digital Operations capability. You will bring strong operational experience from a NOC, Service Operations or similar environment, combined with the ability to develop practical processes that provide greater visibility of service health and operational performance.

This is a hands-on consulting role. The initial environment will involve some manual processes, so you need to be comfortable getting involved, facilitating operational sessions, producing concise reporting and progressively improving the quality of the data and processes that support the operation.

What we're looking for

• Strong operational NOC or Service Operations experience, with a practical understanding of monitoring service health, incidents, changes and operational issues.


• Experience establishing or improving Service Management / Digital Operations processes, with the ability to move from a manual approach towards a more mature and automated model.


• Confident facilitation skills, with the ability to run regular operational sessions involving technical teams and service stakeholders.


• Strong operational reporting skills, including gathering information from multiple sources and producing clear, concise reporting for senior stakeholders.


• A continuous improvement mindset, particularly around improving data quality, operational measures, processes and visibility of service performance.
