Job Description - Service Manager

  • Lead a dedicated passionate team who love what they do.

New role supporting the delivery of the highest levels of service to our customers at our new Christchurch facility due to open prior to end of the year.

Reporting to the Branch Manager and liaising with other department heads, you will have full responsibility of managing the service department.

Your new role as a Service Manager

  • Leading the service team ensuring best practice and quality service is provided.
  • Developing the capabilities of the large service team

The role will suit a skilled and experienced organiser, planner, and facilitator with knowledge of workshop budgets and meeting targets along wide a focus on service quality delivery.

A background in workshop roles such as Leading Hand/Foreman is a necessity. Excellent decision making and prioritising skills are essential as is a passion for Health & Safety.

What you need to be successful

  • Have exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to deal with people from all levels.
  • Experience leading and motivating people.
  • Have a good understanding of financials, profit and loss, margins etc.
  • Take great satisfaction from overcoming challenges and developing your staff.
