We are working with a client who leads not only nationally but globally in what they do. With a large pipeline of exciting and existing projects, we are on the hunt for a Technically astute but sales savvy individual who has demonstrated a strong career thus far to take on this challenge as a Service Manager.

The Role:
In this role you will oversee both the Service and Support departments for the North Island. The Service Manager will be overseeing the delivery of all projects and development of the accounts.

Through your passion and drive to succeed you will oversee improvement of current processes and productivity. With your strong technical aptitude you will also be hands on and able to assist when and where required including mentoring a team of service technicians.

This role will require travel and flexibility with working hours. The role offers competitive remuneration (negotiable based on experience) and company vehicle.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Service & Support departments for all projects in the North Island
  • Mentorship and Leadership for people in technical and support functions
  • Achieving strong and consistent outcomes for clients
  • Client Account Management and identify business opportunities
  • Drive growth opportunities
  • Provide solutions based outcomes
  • Oversee the use of all automation and weighing equipment
  • Engaging with clients on utilisation of all offerings including Service packages, Support, Repair, Maintenance, Calibration and Certification.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience within the electronic, engineering, mechatronic, mechanical or weighing industry.
  • 3-4 years experience in a hand on technical role.
  • Experience handling heavy machinery is preferred
  • Proven experience in managing projects, budgets, resources, reporting and monitoring milestones
  • Previous experience and success working toward set KPI's with strong results
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Strong commitment workplace Health and Safety standards
