Service Manager - Leading Industry Pay

Mastertech Marine is seeking a Service manager to lead a fantastic team of committed technicians in our modern purpose-built service department.

Mastertech Marine is one of the largest Marine dealerships in NZ with sales and service of top brands like Stabicraft, Extreme, Buccaneer and Fi Glass boats as well as Mercury Marine and Suzuki marine engines.

Our team has been able to grow and excel with commitment to high quality service and customer care .

You will be in charge of day-to-day operations of our new purpose-built service facility.

Booking in work and planning for your teams’ day.

Customer contact and customer feedback will be part of your role.

You will be responsible for the workshop’s productivity and quality control. 

Working with sales team to achieve timeline goals.

Handing craft over to customers on completion of work.

Reporting to Management on team assisting team with daily duties and workload. 

Checking over jobs and invoicing on completion of jobs.

Development and training goals being meet. 

You will be in charge of managing first impressions and presentation of the workshop and your team.

The successful applicant will have service management experience in a service department. Ideally you will be very experienced as a qualified technician in the marine or automotive industries. 

You will have good computer skills and ideally have experience with management programs like Sam or Orion 

Customer service skills will be essential as well as team building skills with your team. You will be required to provide reporting to be able to manage and build a successful service department.

Remuneration will be based on experience and will be based on a Salary Package and proven bonus system that will reward success. 

Saturday work will be required on a roster system.
