About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

We're looking for two experienced practioners to play a pivotal role in ensuring new and changed fit for purpose services are successfully introduced into the ACC operating environment. You will lead service transition planning and operational readiness activities across sometimes complex programmes and initiatives, working closely with delivery teams, service management functions, and business stakeholders. This is an opportunity to influence how appropriately designed and built technology is embedded, enabling high-quality services that support ACC's purpose of helping keep Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

The appointing salary for this role is $126,101 - $152,430 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

  • Strong ICT technical background across cloud, infrastructure, enterprise platforms, and service environments. 
  • Significant experience in service transition, service management, operational readiness, across IT delivery environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex change initiatives and coordinate multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Strong knowledge of service management practices, governance, risk management, and operational support models.
  • Experience developing and implementing transition plans, go-live readiness activities, and service acceptance processes.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • A collaborative and pragmatic approach with the ability to build trust and credibility across diverse teams.
  • You must hold New Zealand work rights at the time of application.
