The opportunity
What you'll be doing
Maintaining and repairing drainage and stormwater infrastructure
Installing, unblocking and repairing drainage pipes, mains, valves and connections
Setting and repairing manhole covers and frames
Operating CCTV equipment, jetting and root-cutting equipment
Using small plant and machinery, including excavators in safe environments
Responding to drainage overflows and emergency situations
Participating in the standby roster and callout duties
Communicating professionally with customers and stakeholders
Working safely while following environmental and quality standards

About you
To be successful in this role you will bring:
You need to be reliable, and bring a hard-working attitude with you
Have your full class 1 licence (minimum) with the ability to gain your WTR and Class 2 licence
Experience in the industry or the civil/construction industry, with the ability to use hand tools, small plant and machinery
The ability to use technology (i.e. iPad or tablet) to record information
An understanding and commitment to health and safety in the workplace
First Aid, Confined Spaces, working at height certificates would be beneficial
The flexibility to work overtime and on a roster than includes shift work/ on call
A willingness to complete further studies and work towards the Connexis Infrastructure works qualification.
