Sheetmetal Factory Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced sheetmetal manufacturer to oversee the day-to-day operations in our busy factory based in Waltham.

This role includes:

• Managing the manufacturing of sheet metal HVAC components in our Christchurch factory
• Liaising with the installation team leaders to ensure production for onsite installation is met.
• Ensuring customer orders are met on time and on budget.
• Managing the day-to-day responsibilities of 20 staff.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant work experience in the ducting and sheetmetal industry.
• Trade Certificate, NZ Certificate or equivalent relevant qualification
• Worked as a skilled Sheetmetal worker, with advanced machining and Plasma Cutting skills
• Competent in CAD design, spreadsheet and general PC usage 
• Proven leadership and people management skills

You will be required to work some Saturday mornings during busy periods such as stock take. It is a waged role, and there will be overtime involved.
