Shift Industrial Electrician

AFFCO is currently seeking a suitably qualified Shift Electrician for its meat processing facility in Moerewa, Northland.

The successful candidate will join the existing trades team to ensure that plant assets are managed and maintained in a way that enhances the company’s short and long term objectives and minimises production downtime.

This is a shift role - both day and night shift.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:

• Strong diagnostic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels of the business.
• The ability to work unsupervised and meet tight deadlines ensuring production line efficiency is maximized.
• A proactive approach to daily routine with strong organisational and time management skills.
• A strong commitment to upholding health and safety standards.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PLC knowledge would be an advantage.

Applicants must be Registered Electricians with a current practicing licence and have availability to work on a rotating shift structure including availability for call outs.
