The Role

We’re looking for a Night Shift Manager to lead our Hubbards operation. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for running an overnight shift, delivering production targets and ensuring smooth, efficient operations across people, plant and process. With a strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement, you’ll quickly identify issues, solve problems, and build a high-performing, accountable team.

This is a full-time (40 hours), permanent position working 10:00pm – 6:30am, from Sunday night to Friday morning.

Responsibilities:

•    Lead, coach and support your team to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality production
•    Own shift performance - labour, output, downtime and OEE
•    Allocate work and manage team performance on shift
•    Ensure production is delivered safely, on time, to quality standards and within budget
•    Investigate and resolve issues (safety, quality, breakdowns, performance)
•    Train and develop team members, setting clear expectations and driving accountability

About You

You’re a confident, practical leader who thrives on the floor. Calm under pressure and solutions-focused, you know how to get the best out of people while keeping standards high. You lead by example, and strive to create a safe, effective team environment where people perform.

You will bring:

•    2+ years leadership experience in a food manufacturing/FMCG
•    Proven leadership skills to lead, coach, influence and hold constructive conversations
•    Strong safety and food quality mindset 
•    Hands‑on approach, with high initiative and strong problem‑solving skills
•    Continuous improvement capability 
•    Strong accountability, with a warm and approachable personality
