If your answer is yes, then we invite you to join us! A thrilling opportunity has opened up for a permanent full-time Ships Agency Administrator to become part of our team in Auckland, New Zealand.
Main Responsibilities:
- The role of the Ships Agency Administrator is to provide administrative and operational support to Ships Agency operations including occasional vessel attendance, crew change management and vessel support services.
- You will find yourself closely and effectively planning & coordinating vessel non-operational requirements in New Zealand and across the Pacific Islands.
- You will be liaising with Government Authorities, working closely with service providers, representing our customer's interests, assisting the crew, and dealing with industry bodies.
- Be prepared for some out-of-hours and rostered weekend work as we are a 24/7 industry, but we also offer a unique degree of flexibility.
Who You Are:
- You are a self-motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for achieving excellence.
- Ability to multitask and show exceptional flexibility to work within a fast paced, ever changing environment.
- While prior experience or exposure to the Shipping Industry is advantageous, we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and the right attitude to learn and succeed.
- Attention to detail, administrative proficiency, and a good grasp of computer skills are essential.
- You thrive under pressure, meet deadlines effectively, and approach challenges as opportunities for growth.
- Safety, compliance, and wellness are paramount to you and your team's success.
- You must possess a valid New Zealand work permit, driver's license and driving experience.
