Site Engineer

We have an opportunity available for a Site Engineer to join our Green Team in Palmerston North.

Reporting to the Project Manager you will plan, coordinate and deliver the operational aspects of assigned projects ensuring health and safety, environmental, quality and financial performance are achieved.

What you'll bring to the role

• Previous experience on New Zealand civils and roading projects in an Engineering capacity with technical knowledge of roading construction methods techniques
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar)
• Previous experience using survey and testing equipment
• Strong focus on cost control and quality outcomes.
• Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910
• Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and general systems aptitude.
