Job Description - Site Leader - Sales & Operations

About the Role As Site Leader, you’ll have full responsibility for leading the Internal Sales, External Sales, and Operations teams, ensuring the day-to-day running of the branch is smooth, efficient, and aligned with Vulcan’s standards and values.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily branch functions and operational performance
Set and manage sales and operations targets
Drive territory management and maximise branch revenue, margin, and customer growth
Lead ongoing sales training and support initiatives
Develop and deliver branch improvement plans and participate in sales and operations planning
Support external sales, estimating, and customer service as needed
Collaborate with other Vulcan business units to strengthen customer relationships and team alignment
Ensure full compliance with Vulcan’s health & safety standards
Minimum 5 years’ proven success in B2B sales, with a strong track record of results
Demonstrated leadership experience in a sales or operations environment (industrial or distribution sector ideal)
Strong commercial acumen, with a history of achieving revenue and profit targets
Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage and grow client relationships
Confident leader who builds trust, engages teams, and drives performance
Solutions-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
Strong time management and organisational abilities
Self-motivated, resilient, and able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
