About the role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Site Manager for a prominent commercial construction project here in Tauranga. Our client is seeking a down to earth, talented, high preforming individual to lead on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and project success.
• Monitor site progress, manage resources effectively, and proactively address any issues or challenges that arise.
• Uphold strict health and safety standards, adhering to regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in commercial construction projects, preferably in the New Zealand market.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and health and safety practices.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
