Are you looking for a Senior position in the Smart Metering industry? Relocate to Australia and work as a smart Metering Supervisor! You will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and performance of smart metering systems. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of technicians, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimising system performance, and providing technical expertise and support.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  
1. Team Leadership:

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of smart metering technicians. 
• Schedule and allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and service level agreements.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.

2. Installation and Maintenance:

• Coordinate the installation and commissioning of smart metering systems according to project specifications and timelines.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of smart meters to minimise downtime and ensure accurate data collection.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to maximise system reliability.

3. Compliance and Quality Assurance:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on installations and maintenance activities to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
• Address any non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

4. System Optimisation:

• Monitor the performance of smart metering systems and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Analyse data trends and recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.

5. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field technicians and customers.
• Investigate and resolve escalated technical issues related to smart metering systems.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the technical skills of team members.

6. Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and customer service representatives, to coordinate activities and resolve issues.
• Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and utility customers, to address inquiries and concerns related to smart metering.

Qualifications:

• Qualified tradesman in telecommunications or Electrical, or a related field.
• NZ OR AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN 
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in smart metering or related industry.
• In-depth knowledge of smart metering technologies, protocols, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards governing smart metering systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in smart metering or related field.
• Experience with project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools.
• Familiarity with advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) systems.
