Social Media & Content Creator – Make Our Burgers Famous on TikTok

Velvet Burger is back with a brand-new menu and a mission to reclaim our place at the top of the burger scene. We’ve got the burgers – now we need you to make them famous.

We’re not looking for a traditional “social media assistant.”
We’re looking for someone who’s funny, fast, and fearless with a phone in their hand.
Someone who lives on TikTok and IG Reels, knows the trends before they trend, and can turn burgers, staff antics, and chaos into content people actually want to watch.

What you’ll do:

• Shoot short-form video content that feels native to TikTok/IG


• Come up with ideas, skits, and behind-the-scenes moments that show off Velvet’s vibe


• Edit and post from your phone – no red tape, just get it out there


• Get staff, customers, and randoms involved in the fun


• Keep an eye on trends and hop on them before they go cold

What you won’t do:

• Make boring Canva graphics


• Post stiff, corporate-sounding stuff


• Wait for a 10-step approval process

Who you are:

• You already make TikToks or Reels for fun


• You’re confident, creative, and get how social media actually works


• You don’t need a full camera setup - just a phone, some ideas, and a bit of chaos


• You’re in Dunedin and keen to pop into the store when needed to shoot content
