About the role

The Social Media Content Creator will execute online content strategies for our premium content clients and Digital Simple. You'll create engaging posts, stories, and videos that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and growth across all social platforms. You will also plan and execute effective email marketing campaigns.

No mountain is too high! You will go above and beyond to provide the best Social Media Services on the Market for our clients. 

• Content strategy & planning  
• Management of organic brand social media channels, including content planning & scheduling 
• Customer engagement, and reporting with a focus on social media and email key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing recommendations for content strategy based on the findings  
• EDM scheduling and database and segment updating according to audience strategy 
• Ownership of automated EDM flows and updating our flows when necessary to best execute the brand strategy and goals 
• Crafting image and video content for social media accounts (supported by the Creative team)   
• Setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies   
• Writing engaging copy   
• Building relationships with clients
• Staying up to date with digital tech trends, especially organic social   
• Tracking, analysing & reporting content performance metrics, and adjusting content planning accordingly 
• This is a full-time roll working in our fast-paced office

About you
We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant experience working with social media and digital content, including a strong understanding of social media tools, publishing and listening platforms
• Is up to date with channel developments, social trends, and generally has a finger on the pulse of all things digital.
• Proven results in the management of Social Media platforms
• Can comfortably take the lead and advise as the social subject matter expert for our business
• Can actively contribute to the development and delivery of marketing communications strategies
• Brings warmth, energy and a positive mindset
• Has a full, clean driver's licence and is comfortable driving around the wider Christchurch area
• Must be flexible - sometimes we have shoot at odd hours and somewhat out of the box!
