About the role

Giltrap Group is on the lookout for a dynamic individual to step into the role of Social Media Specialist in the Retail function. This individual will have the opportunity to work with a portfolio of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world.

The Social Media Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all brand and dealership advertising and content for social channels in Giltrap Group. The Social Media Specialist will collaborate with internal clients and all marketing teams to ensure seamless execution and optimisation of social campaigns, driving engagement and delivering results.

Main Responsibilities

• Create and execute a strategic and comprehensive organic social media marketing plan, including content strategy and calendar planning, to increase brand awareness and online presence for all 18 brands.
• Work closely with the content team to generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news) that builds meaningful connections and encourages audiences to take action.
• Plan and execute Social media advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram), YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Execute A/B testing to refine content and improve overall campaign effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to report on campaign results and recommend future optimizations.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Marketing or Communications, paired with a minimum of 3 years' experience in social media marketing or related specialist roles. Other desirable skills and atrributes include:

• Proficient in managing ad campaigns with a strong understanding of analytics.
• Experience planning and executing paid and organic social media strategies across all social channels (Meta, TikTok, X (Twitter), LinkedIn etc)
• Proficiency in analysing social media metrics and translating insights into suggested actionable strategies.
• Previous experience managing clients and handling multiple accounts.
• An innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
