About the role
As a registered Social Worker we would love you to join our amazing team working with disabled tamariki/children and their whanau/families and caregivers.
The work will largely be undertaken in the Bay of Plenty (Tauranga/Whakatane), working closely and in partnership with Oranga Tamariki, although some work in the Waikato will be required.
The Social Worker role supports a holistic and integrated approach to practice, working collaboratively with other agencies to support whanau and caregivers where a child has additional needs.
You will provide a social work service that incorporates psycho-social assessment, whanau focused practice and education.
Requirements of the role include
You will be supported in this role through the provision of internal mentorship and support from a senior practitioner, external supervision, payment of APC and continuing professional development opportunities as negotiated.
