Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The opportunity
Our Permanent Caregiver Support Services team are based in our specialised Contact Centre located in Manukau. You will work alongside a team of dedicated Contact Centre Representatives that triage all incoming calls, Case Workers that come with knowledge from a range of different backgrounds and SWRB Qualified and Registered Social Workers. We offer one on one support from your supervisor, a fantastic team that really care about the whānau they work with and the chance to network with service providers across Aotearoa. We also offer salaries that are based on experience and are able to match the recent pay equity settlement.
Caregivers are referred to our service by Oranga Tamariki once they are defined as Permanent Caregivers by the Care of Children's Act 2004 or Section 113 of the Oranga Tamariki Act 1989. Our team play a crucial part in planning and assessing the support services that are required. Supports for tamariki vary and can include (but are not limited to) specialist medical services, funding for extracurricular activities and access to special education.
