Job Description - Software Engineer, Rotational Development Program

Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture High attention to detail, with strong problem-solving skills Adaptable to change and ambiguity Proven ability to articulate thoughts verbally and in written form in a professional and organised manner, and willing to offer ideas for improvement Strong customer focus, strives to meet or exceed customer expectations Addresses work assignments in terms of customer expectations Seeks opportunities to utilise technical knowledge and abilities Takes ownership of individual assignments and sees assignments through to completion Willingness to undertake outdoor, physical work as and when required Strong desire to advance and be challenged. BS or MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering Programming ability in either C++, C#, and scripting ability (Ruby, Bash, Perl, Shell, Python, and/or JavaScript) A minimum of 1 prior internship or 2 or fewer years of professional experience is required. Experience with Windows and Mac platforms, Google Apps and Chrome, Firefox, Safari and/or IE browsers Domain related experience or knowledge with computer vision, photogrammetry, 3D modeling, artificial intelligence, signal processing, image recognition, GNSS, or similar Familiarity with the Agile System Development Lifecycle Please Note: THIS ROLE HAS CLOSED FOR APPLICATIONS, and only applicants legally entitled to work in New Zealand will be considered.
